The present study aimed to explore the therapeutic effects of carvacrol on ulcerative colitis (UC) inflammation model induced by DSS (dextran sulfate sodium) in rats. Forty rats were randomly divided into blank, model, low-, middle-, and high-dose groups. drank 4.5% for 5 consecutive days induce UC except blank group. Different concentrations either or purified water supplied intragastric administration 7 assess protective effect involving TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway.
